Center Director
Candace Sjogren is the cofounder and Center Director of Boston Breakthrough Academy, a practicing attorney, and a management consultant, where she leads strategy with venture backed companies such as Marqeta, Inc. Previously, Sjogren was the founder and CEO of two fintech companies and Chief Strategy Officer at lending platforms Dealstruck and LoanHero. Candace continues to serve as an angel investor and contributing author for Entrepreneur Magazine. She received her JD from Salmon P. Chase College of Law and resides in the South End with her husband, son and golden doodle.
Advisor
Evan Hackel, the creator of the Ingaged Leadership concept and brand, is a thought leader in the fields of leadership and success. He has published the book IngagingLeadership and has authored more than 100 articles for various magazines around leadership concepts. Evan has helped to start more than 20 businesses, led billion dollar organizations and consulted with some of the largest corporations in the world. Evan is currently founder/CEO of Ingage Consulting and Tortal Training. Before Ingage Consulting, Evan worked at CCA Global Partners, where he was responsible for four business divisions with more than 2,000 units and over $5 billion in sales operating in five countries. Evan received an MBA from Boston College and a BA from Colorado College.
